Sophia Ann Frances Ferguson McBride passed away on September 17, 1927 in Roanoke, Va. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James(Carrie)Wood.
She was born February 9, 1873 in Franklin County, Va. and was a daughter of John P. and Mary Ann Eades Ferguson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Lee Patrick McBride in 1923 and one daughter, Carrie J. McBride Wood in 1926.
She is survived by: three daughters, Mamie Lee Bell and husband Arthur of Coopers, Lillie Smith and husband Luke of Bluefield, Annie Maude Hill and husband Jesse of Bramwell; one son, Gordon McBride and wife May of Yards, Va.
Burial will be in the Isaac Bell Cemetery at Shinbrier.
