Mrs. Leamaster
Mrs. Sarah M. Leamaster, wife of William Leamaster, died at her home north of Orland, on Wednesday, June 18th, aged 56 years, 4 months and 10 days.
Mrs. Leamaster had been ill for a number of months with a cardiac affection,[sic] and it had been known for a long time that there was nothing that could be done to assist her toward recovery. Mrs. Leamaster had been a resident of Orland for a little more than three years, coming here with her husband and daughter from Gunnison, Utah. Mrs. Leamaster's parents were among the people who formed the great migration of Mormans from Nauvoo, Illinois, to the Great Plains, when the new Morman center was established at Salt Lake, and Mrs. Leamaster was a life-long adherent to that faith. In addition to the husband, the deceased leaves to mourn her loss one daughter, now Mrs. Benj. Wykoff, as well as several grandchildren.
The funeral is to be held today from the home, and interment will be made in the Masonic cemetery. - Transcribed by E.
