Her Hancock Co. marriage record to Emerson Otis Stottlemyer shows her last name
as Hogan instead of Bailey. Perhaps she had been married before. The 1920
census shows that she was born in Missouri.

Fortville---Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Fortville
Christian Church for Mrs. Nellie Stottlemyer, wife of Emerson Stottlemyer, who
died Friday morning at the family home in Muncie. The body was taken to the
Paul C. Cory Funeral Home here where friends will be received after 10 a.m.
Saturday. The services will be in charge of the Rev. Metcalf Miller. Burial
will be in the Gravelawn Cemetery.

In additon to her husband, Mrs. Stottlemyer is survived by a son Melvin George
of Muncie and one brother, George Bailey of Fortville. She was a resident of
Fortville for a number of years and was a member of the Fortville Christian
Church.
