Mrs. Mary S. Conner, 76 a resident of the Masonic Widows and Orphans Home, Louisville, died there Friday, April 11, 1980. She was born in Breckinridge County April 14, 1903 to
Abraham and Elizabeth Haynes Skaggs. Her husband, Henry Walker Conner , preceded her in death. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Mae Hardin, Jacksonville, Florida, Mrs. Wilma Jane Anderson, Clarksville, Indiana, Mrs. Helen Louise Gonterman , Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Mrs. Mary Katherine Roller, Louisville; three sons, Roger Lee Conner and and Roy Wayne Conner , both of Irvington, and Kenneth Eugene Conner, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Hilda Meadors of Harned, 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Don Bruington officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery near Bewleyville.
