WAYNESBORO - Elizabeth Davis Taylor of 608 Florence Avenue, died on Thursday, (Sept. 25, 2003) at her residence. She was born Feb. 21, 1907, in Virginia, the daughter of Frederick A. Calfee and Wertie Tomes Calfee. She retired from the Postal Service after 40 years of service as a postmistress.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. Howard Taylor, two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her daughter, M. Joy Taylor, from the home.
A service will be held at a later date. Friends may call at the residence. Reynolds Funeral Service and Crematory of Waynesboro is handling arrangements.
