The body of Mrs. Nora Lilly, 79, has been taken by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home to Greenville for services and burial. Arrangements had not been announced Monday.

Mrs. Lilly, who had made her home here with a daughter, Ms. Avery Lee, 1302-A Washington, for the past five months, died Sunday morning in Northwest Texas Hospital. Prior to moving here she had resided in Greenville.

She was a native of Texas, and was born Jan. 8, 1873.

Beside the daughter here, she is survived by four sons and another daughter.

Mrs. Nora Lilly, 79 years old, died Sunday morning shorty after midnight in Northwest Texas Hospital. Since coming here from Greenville about five months ago, she had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Avery Lee, 1302-A Washington.

A native of Texas, Mrs. Lilly was born Jan. 8, 1973.

Other survivors are four sons, Walter and Herbert Lilly, Greenville, Elmer Lilly, Carlsbad, NM, and P.W. Lilly, Dallas; and another daughter, Mrs. Hazel Jeffries, Dallas.

The body was taken by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home yesterday to Greenville for funeral services and burial.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Lamar Baptist Church for Mrs. Nora Lilly, 79, who died Sunday afternoon in Amarillo. Rev. W.O. Majors, pastor, officiated at the service. Burial was in Forest Park.

The James-Coker-Peters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lilly was born on January 8, 1873 and moved to Greenville the same year. At the time of her death she was resident of Amarillo, and held membership in the Lamar Baptist Church in this city.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Avery Lee of Amarillo and Mrs. Jim Jeffries of Dallas; four sons, Elmer Lilly of Carlsbad, New Mexico; H.A. Lilley (sic) and J.W. Lilly of Greenville and P.W. Lilly, and one half sister, Miss Etta Daffern of Gunter, Texas.

Coker-Mathews has her buried in Forest Park in 1952 without a description of where. Greenville Parks and Recreation Department has her with son Forest without marker in Forest Park.
