Age 93, of New Castle, DE, passed away on August 28, 2010 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Hospital. She was the wife of the late Geary Biddison who passed away in 1971.
Phyllis was a member of American Legion Stahl Post #30 and the Elks Club. She attended Lighthouse Christian Center.
Phyllis is survived by her children: Robert H. Wheatley, William F. Wheatley, Jr., and James E. Biddison and his wife Elizabeth; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and her best friend and caretaker: Patricia Fowler.She was preceded in death by her daughter, LonaLee Wheatley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 11 am on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Hwy., New Castle where the family will receive guests starting at 10 am. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
