William H. Webb

Services for Mr. William H. Webb, 79, of Kilgore will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in the Chapel at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore with Pastor Tom McDaniels officiating.

Burial will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Carroll Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Mr. Webb passed away Saturday in Longview.

William H. Webb was born March 13, 1931 in Carroll Springs, Texas, son of the late William N. and Lena Webb.

He retired from the United States Air Force after more than 20 years of service.

Mr. Webb also was a Truck Driver retiring from Crete Carrier Corporation. He enjoyed water skiing, playing horseshoes and listening to country and gospel music.

William is survived by his daughter, Tammy Ingram of Overton; sons, Timothy Webb of Burleson and Kendall Webb of LaVergne TN; brother, Billy Wayne Webb of Gilmer; ex-wife, Karen Webb of Burleson; four grandchildren; and several nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lucile Laymance, brother, Elonzo Webb and a half-brother Herman Webb.
