Funeral Services For Mrs. Alice C. Gray Thursday Afternoon
Impressive funeral services were held Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Alice C. Gray, wife of Samuel K. Gray, from the home on Washington St. The Rev. Robert J. Freeborn, rector of St. James Church, was assisted in the services by Dr. Frederic Avery, of Cleveland.
The love and sympathy of friends and relatives was expressed in the wealth of beautiful floral offerings.
The casket bearers were two grandsons, Gray Chesney and James Gray McDougal, J. J. Jerome, R. E. Gregory, Morgan Callender and F. T. Pyle.
From out of town attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. James B. McDougal, Riverside, Ill., Mr. Henry Lockwood, Chicago, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. George L. Reis, Knoxville, Tenn., Dr. and Mrs. Frederic Avery, Mr. Eckstein Case, Mrs. Robert Harper, Mr. Frank Moodey, Mr. George Lockwood, J. Powell Jones, Mr. Glynn Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Riblet, Mr. Gray Chesney, all of Cleveland and Mr. Lockwood Armstrong, Kansas City, Mo.
