WAYNE H. BERGMAN, 84, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, May 25, 2007, at Parkview North Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Fred and Elizabeth Bergman. He retired in 1978 from General Electric after 35 years. The U.S. Army Air Corp. veteran was a member of American Legion Post 47.

Survived by his children, Larry (Susan) Bergman of Onalaska, Wash., Sylvia Bergman of Auburn, Nancy (Edward) Hobbs of Fort Wayne; brother, Fred Bergman of Fort Wayne; sister, Virginia Brunner of Leo; grandchildren, Dane (Belinda) Bergman of Federal Way, Wash., Kristina Bergman of Olympia, Wash., Martin Bergman of Onalaska, Wash., Victoria (Jeffrey) Ostreim of Chehalis, Wash. and Sarah Hobbs of Fort Wayne; and great-grandchildren, Wayne Bergman and Morgan Ostreim.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in 2006; brother, Ken Bergman; and sister, Ruth Wichman.
