A Detroiter for 40 years, Mr. Kirchler lived at 13236 E. Jefferson. He was a native of Germany.
Mr Kirchler organized the Detroit Knitting Mills in 1915 and the firm which bears his name in 1931. He retired in 1946.
He was a member of Zion Lodge, FQAM No 1.
Survivors include his wife, Anna: a son, Louis, and three daughters, Mrs Hazel Gould, Mrs Mildred Parsons and Mrs Freda Haddas.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Fred G. Marshall & sons Funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery
