Alfred B. Palmer, a pioneer of Umatilla County, died at his home on Birch Creek, nine miles southwest of Pendleton, Monday afternoon.
Mr. Palmer has resided in Umatilla County almost 25 years. He first took up a claim near Warren station, north of Pendleton, where he resided for many years. He sold his place there several years ago and moved to the Birch Creek place, where he died.
