Was drowned in the mill-pond near Cedarville, on Tuesday morning, the 19th inst.
EPHRAIM BATEMAN, son of Dr. Ephraim Bateman, a fine boy about seven years of age. His death, we understand, was occasioned by his getting into an air-hole, while amusing himself sliding on the ice.
"Dear lovely boy, repose in peace,
Now all thy worldly sorrows cease."
