Dave was born in 1941 in Michigan. He graduated Newberry High school in 1959 & went straight on to bradcasting school. He quickly scaled the ladder & found himself employed by ABC evening news. This was merely the start to a life long dream & following ones true passion.

Dave married a widow named Shirley Mae (Freeman)Singley in Michigan in 1962 & together they had 4 children together. Vince, Greg (passed away in 1985 @ 19),Bobby & Julie. She had the eldest child Tony, from her previous marriage.

Of all the children, Julie was the one to follow in his foot steps & take up voice-over/broadcasting. He took her under his wing & taught her everything he knew. They worked together on many projects right up to his death of Septic Shock on June 11, 2010.

As per his requests, Dave was creamated & the ashes given to the children. His memory will live on forever as we still tune in his "MemoryLane Radio" tunes or the Armed Forces Network Radio...Today, the world lost a great voice & a greater friend.
