Ethel Moore "Dell" Tomlinson, 91, of 69 Felder Street, Bamberg, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, at Bamberg County Nursing Center.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at Trinity United Methodist Church,
Bamberg, with the Rev. Jim Dennis and the Rev. Julian Long officiating. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Bamberg.
Mrs. Tomlinson was born June 12, 1911, in Olanta, a daughter of the late Levi Moore
and Lola Floyd Moore. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, shopping and social activities. She was affiliated with Trinity United Methodist Church of Bamberg. She was the widow of Harold S. Tomlinson. She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Tomlinson and two sisters and two brothers, Mary Floyd, Emma DuBose, Jack Moore and Allison Cousar. Survivors include a son, Mike Tomlinson of Bamberg; a daughter, Fran Tomlinson of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Buena Kyzer of Ashville, N.C.; a number of nieces and nephews; a grandson, Michael H. Tomlinson Jr. of Bowman; a great-grandson, JacobTomlinson of Bowman; and a great-granddaughter, Kelly Tomlinson of Bowman.
Cooner Funeral Home of Bamberg is in charge of arrangements.
