Dr. Howard R. McCall, 60, of 206 Woodland Avenue, a well known local dentist, died this morning,June 14, in the Adrian Hospital following a lingering illness of several years.
He was born in Punxsutawney on April 17, 1905,
a son of A. F. & Melissa Cessna McCall and on October 6, 1928, was united in marriage with Earla Jane Gourley.
A lifelong resident of this, city, he was a member of the First Methodist Church and the local BPO Elks Lodge.
He was graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School in 1929.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter and two sons:
Mrs. Martin C. Chambers, of Cabot, Pa.;
Frank McCall, of Morgantown, W Va.,
and William McCall, of Bradford.
He leaves also six grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Jordan Funeral Home here Tuesday .
Private funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon.
The Rev. E Arnold Ohl will officiate and interment will be in Circle Hill Cemetery.
