Jacksonville, Feb. 24 - William Allen Lamb, 76, who died unexpectedly while his family was at Sunday School, was buried Monday in the Frankston Cemetery.
Rites were held Monday afternoon in the First Baptist Church, Frankston, by the Rev. Dan Gardner of Koonce and the Rev. Walter Mitchell, pastor.
Mrs. Lamb found her husband dead when she returned from Sunday School. Lamb had dressed to attend with her, but complained of feeling ill and decided to remain at home.
Surviving are his widow; son, Frank Lamb of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. C. O. Miller of Palestine and Mrs. Carl Fletcher of Frankston; a brother, two sisters, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Lamb had lived in Frankston since he was 12, except for a few years spent in Georgia, and was a member of the Frankston Baptist Church.
Arrangements were by Gragard-Spraggins-Swofford.
