MIDVALE - Jack James Ainsworth, 86, passed away at his home in Midvale on April 10, 1998.
Born March 11, 1930 in Sandy, Utah, to Heber and Geneva Johnson Ainsworth. Married Carolyn Siegell in Provo, Utah; later divorced. Married Beth C Egbert in Elko, Nevada, on March 15, 1962.
Jack was a lineman for Kennecott Copper Corp and a veteran of the Korean War. He took on a ready-made family of six and built a house for them. Jack owned a lawn mower repair business and refinished furniture. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He raised tomatoes and especially enjoyed raising a family of loving children.
Survivors: wife, Beth; children, Carl Wayne, Russell, Katherine, Juanita, Toni, Vera, Kent and Alan. 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, brothers, Lynn, David and Noal; sister, Juanita.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 1998, at 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So State, where friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, one hour prior to services.
