Jonathan White faught to get west springfield made into a township he faught in the french and indian war.

He was also a deacon for his church in west springfield

He is a DAR proven patriot for patriot service
He served as a delegate to provincial congress 1775 & 1782
He was over the measure and weights
He served on several committees
He was also over and trained the minute men in rev war in his area

His two sons Aaron & Joseph white served rev war also one as a captain and the other as a private

He had three children who reached adulthood
all three moved to new york where they are buried
