Bobby Lee Tiller, 70, of Springton, died Friday, December 21, 2007 at his home.

Born February 28, 1937 at Dott, he was the son of the late Authur Vernon Tiller and Mary Edith Lester Tiller.

Mr. Tiller was retired from Eastern Gas at Herndon and was a member of the U.M.W.A. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Bailey Memorial Missionary Church at Giatto.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Joyce Lusk Tiller in 1991; one brother, Authur "Tiny" Vernon Tiller; and two half-brothers, Frankie Mitchem Tiller and Billy Mitchem.

Survivors include four sons, Robert Lee Tiller of Princeton and his wife Angela, Michael Dwayne Tiller and his wife Shirley of Dott, Ronald Tiller of Beeson and Richard Tiller of Springton; one daughter, Rita Shrewsbury and her husband Stanley of Lashmeet; two sisters, Alice Faye Lusk and her husband Colen of Kegley and Lois Jean Smith of California; one half-sister, Patsy Midkiff and her husband Harless of Lashmeet; two special aunts, Bonnie Billings and Lena Brewster, both of Princeton; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and all of his special brothers and sisters from the church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Preacher Buck Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at the Tiller-Shrewsbury Cemetery at Pinoak.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rex Shrewsbury, Johnny Shrewsbury, David Odle, Jake Cordle, Larry Cordle and Maynard White. Honorary pallbearers will be David Seibenharr and Dwayne Meadows.

Friends may call today from 6-8 p.m. at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
