Margaret Nuchols, 88, of Maryville, daughter of Jim and Margaret Hurst, died Monday, Feb. 23, at her home. She was a member of Maryville Baptist Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Nuchols, who was founder of Nuchols Transfer Company. Survivors include children and spouses, Ed Nuchols, the Rev. Jack and Barbara Nuchols, Bill and Della Mae Nuchols, Helen and Jim Goins, the Rev. Bob and Marie Nuchols, Shirley and Jim Long, David and Tammy Nuchols; sister, Viola Gillespie; 27 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. The funeral services will be at 8 p.m. today in McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.D. Nuchols and the Rev. Bob Nuchols officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Old Piney Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
