Betty passed away on August 20, 2010. She was a longtime resident of Palos Verdes Peninsula and a longtime member of Rolling Hills Covenant Church. She grew up in Los Angeles and met and married the love of her life, Richard Coffey. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage before his passing in 2006. She is survived by two daughters, Lynne (Ron) Hlavka and Anne (Bryan) Hicks; as well as two granddaughters, AmyLynne and Emily Hicks. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 27, at 2:00 pm at Green Hills Memorial Park.
