J. Donald Lemmon, 62, Littlestown R. 1, owner and operator of Lemmons 2x4 Country Store for the past 11 years, died this morning at the Hanover Hospital.
He was the husband of Catharine Nelson Lemmon, who survives. His first wife, Arlean Bemiller Lemmon died April 3, 1960.
He was the son of Charles E. Lemmon, Littlestown and the late Gettie Bowers Lemmon and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hanover. He was a World War II Veteran, having served with the U.S. Army on the European Theatre of Operations, and was a charter member of the VFW of Littlestown. He also was a member of Alpha Fire Co.
Survivors in addition to his wife and father are a daughter, Mrs. Darla Whisler, Hanover; two step-daughters, Mrs. Allen G. Defibaugh, Hanover and Mrs. Fred C. Murren, Lebanon; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. J. Arthur Boyd, Dorothy Harner, all of Littlestown.
Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown.
