Miriam Marjorie Stull was born to Mr. and Mrs. George Stull on December 23, 1904, at Waterloo, Iowa. She moved with her parents to Wyoming in 1910 and attended schools in Crook and Campbell counties. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1959 with a B.A. degree. On May 1, 1927, she was united in marriage to Albert b. Wells, and five children were born to this union.

She was preceded in death by three sons. She taught school in the area northwest of Moorcroft and in other rural schools for 21 years. She started teaching at Sundance in 1959.

Survivors are her husband, Albert; daughter, Mrs. Ed Dillinger, and son Cecil.
