Roxie L. Bryson of El Dorado died Tuesday, June 23, 1998 at Susan B, Allen Hospital. She was 86.
Graveside services were held at the Neodesha Cemetery with Rev. John Enwright officiating. Arrangements were handled by the Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado.
The daughter of Alfred C. and Sarah B. [King] Julian, she was born Dec. 22, 1911 at Grenada, MO. She grew up in Independence and moved to El Dorado 40 years ago from Neodesha.
She was united in marriage to Louis M. Bryson on Aug. 4, 1929 at Ava, MO.
Mrs. Bryson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was active in both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Preceding her in death were three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Roger and Mike, both of El Dorado; a daughter, Peggy Smith of Minneaplois, MN; a sister, Jo Wikelund of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, in care of Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
