Madeline was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs. She was active in church as well as in senior citizens' activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamine Douglas Barbee and her granddaughter, Beth Ann Barbee.
Survivors include one daughter, Argie Lynn Willis of Shawnee; four sons, Benjamine Douglas Barbee Jr. of Stumpy Pointe, N.C., Leslie Albert Barbee of Scottsboro, Ala., A.V. Barbee of Siloam Springs, and Kenneth Wayne Barbee of Portsmouth, Va.; and four sisters, Agnes Kimball of Maringouin, La., Irene Chaisson of Baton Rouge, La., Enola McCluney of Mt. Vernon, Wash., and Elam Dawes of Ft. Barrie, La.
