TOSSELL - Donald F. Tossell, Sr., retired Navy including service in World War II, on Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at 10:05 PM, age 78 years. Beloved husband Of Estelle 'Cissy' Ulmer Tossell, father Of Debra Tossell Steinmetz, Donald F. Tossell, Jr., and Larry Tossell. grandfather Of Mallory Tossell and Colin Tossell, brother-in-law of June Price and Herbert Price, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Tossell was the president Of Crescent Pile Driving. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home Chapel, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. 'in Metairie Cemetery' on Saturday, June 22, 2002, at 1:00 PM. Donald F. Tossell Sr., a retired president of Crescent Pile Driving, died Wednesday at Kenner Regional Medical Center. He was 78. Mr. Tossell was born in Kewanee, Ill., and lived in Metairie for the past 52 years. He was a senior chief yeoman in the Navy. Survivors include his wife, Estelle "Cissy" Ulmer Tossell; two sons, Larry and Donald F. Tossell Jr.; a daughter, Debra Tossell Steinmetz; and two grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 1 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Mausoleum.
