Mary Jean Arnold, 89, died at home on Saturday. Born in Fenner, she was a 1938 graduate of Cazenovia Central School. Mrs. Arnold retired as a bookkeeper in 1995. She was a member of Delphi Falls Fire Dept. Auxiliary. Surviving are her children, Karen Mello of New Bedford, MA, Kathleen Cranford of Converse, TX, Serine Ciandella of Huntington Beach, CA, Raymond Jr. of Oneonta, Charles of Delphi Falls, Robert of Fenner, Daniel of Morrisville, Kenneth of Kirkville and Michele Ebert of Apulia Station; her sisters, Ruth Ann Koennecke of Cazenovia and Sheila Gill of Penfield; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. James Church, 6 Green Street in Cazenovia. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road, Cazenovia. Contributions may be made to St. James Church.
