Mrs. Elizabeth Lindermuth Carney, wife of Leo Carney, 7 1/2 W. Washington St., died in Bradford Hospital at 9:05 p. m. yesterday. Mrs. Carney had been in failing health since 1950 and in serious condition the past year. She was a patient in the hospital for 10 days. She was born in Maplehurst,
N. Y., on Jan. 17, 1899, and moved to Bradford with her family in 1929. She was married to Mr. Carney in Olean in 1916. Mrs. Carney was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dorotha Good and
Mrs. Virginia Rose; and two sons, Leo A., and William, all of Bradford; seven grandchildren; one brother, Alfred Lindermuth, Olean; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel after 7 p. m. today. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
