This is my paternal grandmother. Unfortunately, she passed on before I was born and I never knew her. But, I understand from older siblings of mine that she had a hard life. She was the third wife of Elijah "Lige" Crook whom she married on Sept 7, 1898. Of that union, there were seven children, five boys and two girls, Dallas Hardin, my Dad, Dillard, Willie B.
