Funeral services were held from the home and from St. Peter's Lutheran church on Tuesday, June 18, the Rev. F. Schalkhouser officiating. Paulbearers were C. Hannusa, Fred Ninnaman, August Steckelberg, Henry Henning, Reinhart Schrank and Fred Kruse.
The deceased resided his entire life in the town of Westfield, and on May 6, 1908, was united in marriage with Miss Emma Meyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Meyer, town of Westfield. To this union were born three childdren, Gilbert, Lorna and Ernest, who with their mother survive.
Those from away who came to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Luetkens of North Freedom; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Meyer of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Adraktas of Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Will Meyer of Sparta.
