John M. (Jack) Chambers II, 67, Corydon, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.

He was a lifelong employee of Keller Manufacturing Co. in Corydon, a member of the Indiana National Guard and a former Harrison Township Volunteer Fireman for 31 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. I and Veda Ferber Chambers; a sister, Avis Martin; and a brother, Earl (Bud) Chambers.

Survivors include his wife, the former Gloria Ferree, and a son, Dr. John M. Chambers III of Greenwood.

Visitation: Wednesday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 9, after 8 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Thursday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Pallbearers: Gerald Saulman, Steve Warren, James Ferree, Michael Ferree, Dr. Homer Ferree Jr. and Carl Ferree.

Honorary pallbearer: Dr. John Young.

The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Lung Association.
