FRANCIS X. KAISER, SR, aged 80, died peacefully at his home on Palm Sunday 2001,in the company of his wife Mary Jo. He was a master liturgical silversmith, plater and entrepreneur.
Mr. Kaiser was also an active layman in the Roman Catholic Church, serving as a Lector at his parish, and a founding member of the Daily Worldmissionaries.
A proud father (and father-in-law) of five children, he was an equally proud grandfather of 16. His concelebrated funeral Mass drew nearly 300 people at St. Catherine Laboure Church in South St. Louis County, and he was buried on the Charles Mueller family plot at S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery in South St. Louis.
