Lillie Kathern Starr Taitt, 97, a resident of Parkersgurg Care and Rehabilitation Center (Sunbridge), Parkersburg, WV, died Tuesday, Mar. 16, 2010, in St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was born Mar. 14, 1913, in Ritchie County, WV a daughter of the late Elmer and Emma Ross Starr. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist church and the Methodist Women.
Surviving are two sons, William Taitt of Parkersburg and James Taitt of Coon Rapids, MN; a daughter, Patsy Castleberry of Virginia Beach, VA; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Hendershot of Vienna, WV, and Betty Carpenter of Columbus, OH; and her companion of many years, Joe Graziani of Parkersburg.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, James Ernest Taitt, in 1988; two brothers and three sisters.
Services were held Friday, Mar. 19th, at Vaughn Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor George Horner officiating.
Interment followed in Evergreen North Cemetery.
