Carolyn has always been involved in community and church activities. In her early married life, she was a Girl Scout and 4H leader as well as a volunteer in the schools. She was involved in churches in Arizona and New Mexico for many years as a choir director, pianist, organist, treasurer and church elder. After their move to Pueblo, 12 years ago, she became an active member of First Presbyterian Church and worked as Pastor's secretary and office manager. After retiring as office manager of the church, she became involved in Stephen Ministry and the choir. Both art and music were her passions. She loved watercolor painting and was an officer and participant in both the Southern Colorado Watercolor Society and the El Pueblo Art Alliance.
