"Daily Journal" Tupelo, Mississippi Monday, December 16, 1968 C. D. HENDRICKS SERVICES HELD Killed In Wreck Near Mantachie Fulton, Miss. - Funeral services were held Sunday for Charles D. Hendricks, 47, of Mantachie, who was killed in a two car auto crash one mile west of Mantachie Friday night. Officers said Hendricks, who was the owner and operator of the Mantachie Fish and Steak House, died instantly about 11:30 p.m. The driver of the second car, Billy Wayne McCarty, 18, of Mooreville, was not listed as injured by officials. Services were conducted at Shiloh Methodist Church with the Rev. Grady Davidson officiating. Burial was in Center Star Cemetery with McNeece Morris Funeral Home in Fulton in charge of arrangements. The victim was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pauline Hendricks; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Webb of Fulton and Miss Charlotte Hendricks of Fulton; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Clovis Hendricks of Mantachie; a brother, Bobby Joe Hendricks of Mantachie; and a sister, Mrs. Irene Coppage of Macon, Ga.
