HUMPHREY B. MILLER DEAD
Humphrey B. Miller died at his home in Shelbyville Monday afternoon. He was born in Knox county, April 24, 1851, and had lived in Shelby county since 1881. His home has been in Shelbyville for the past 17 years.
Mr. Humphrey was married Feb. 22, 1881 to Miss Harriet Melissa Fleak. To them were born eight children, all living, as follows: Thos. W. Miller of near Epworth: D. Leroy Miller, on the home place north of Bethel; Mrs. Thad Swem, Lakenan; Mrs. H. W. McSorley of Newark; Mrs. John Connoway of Shelbina; Mrs. Jesse G. Grubb of Algona, la.; Mrs. A. M. Caca and Mrs. Ural Bower of Shelbyville. He also leaves three sisters and a brother, C. W. Miller, of Plevna.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 at Pleasant Prairie church, conducted by Rev. L. M. Cooper of Novelty, assisted by Rev. J. A. Lisenbee. Mr. Miller was a member of the Plevna M. E. Church.
