Clara and her sister Mildred were the daughters of Clara and James Ruzicka. Clara turned down an offer to dance with a California ballet company to marry William Knourek. They had two daughters, Joyce and Wilma.
Clara was a wonderful sister,mother,grandmother and great- grandmother. An excellent cook, she was known to make 50 different types of cookies at Christmas time. She made life and living a joy and was truly the anchor of her family.
