Jessie was the daughter of Caswell Harmon & Sarah (Davis), both born in Tennessee.

Jessie's Death Certificate shows she died from "Pellagra", a vitamin deficiency disease caused by a chronic lack of niacin (vitamin B3) in the diet. It is also referred to as "Asturian Leprosy".

Jessie married Guy Commodore George Castor on December 21, 1905, in Neosho, Missouri. Their one daughter, Geraldine Castor, died at 3 1/2 years old from the "Croup".

Jessie's husband signed her Death Certificate. It shows Jessie died in Joplin, MO, but shows her husband's address as Neosho, MO.
