Services for Mrs. Alberta M. Sterling, 71, of Mohrsville R.D. 1, will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
The Rev. John A. Swavely and the Rev. Roderick H. Sutliff will officiate in Belleman's Union Church, Mohrsville R.D. 1. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. The Leibensperer Funeral Home of Centerport, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
The wife of R. Earl Sterling she died Friday at 1:20 p.m. in her residence.
Born in Centre Township, a daughter of Adam H. and Debbie S. (Schrack) Potteiger, she was employed as a sewing machine operator by the Crown Knitting Mills, Mohrsville, last working in 1974.
She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Belleman's Union Church. Her first husband, Clarence L. Weaver, died Nov. 29, 1938.
Surviving in addition to her second husband, are a son, Carl L. Weaver, and a daughter, Elizabeth I., wife of Norman N. Bickel, both of Mohrsville R.D. 1; a stepdaughter, Hazel B., wife of Ray Stetzler, Wilmington, Del.; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Two sisters: Luella E., wife of Milton K. Blatt, and Sara I., wife of Donald E. Brubaker, both of Mohrsville R.D. 1; two stepsisters: Edith M., wife of John P. Loose, Daubersville, and Betty J., wife of Herbert E. Roth, Mohrsville R.D. 1.
