Funeral services for Mrs. Rena Lucille Bohon, 72, of Nelsonville, werer held Friday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. in the Benbow Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Music was provided by Mrs. Fred Gast and Mrs. Vincent Schliermacher. Casketbearers were (grandsons), Jim Bishop, Stephen St. Clair, Dwain Crook, Jim Bohon, Gary Bohon, and Kirby Bohon.
Mrs. Bohon died Tuesday (July 30, 1974) at 6:55 p.m. in Laughlin Hospital in Kirksville.
She was born in Emerson on Sept. 9, 1901, a daughter of Edward A. and Annie Cerrick Smoot. She was a member of the Emerson Christian Church. She married Abe Bohon March 24, 1921 in Palmyra.
Surviving are the husband; a son, Ray of Hannibal; two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Crook of Monroe City and Mrs. John (Nadine) St. Clair of Nelsonville; a sister, Miss Helen Smoot of Canton; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
