Sarah B. Scoggins BISHOPVILLE, S.C. -

Funeral services for Sarah B. Scoggins, age 87, who passed away, September 13, will be held Wednesday, at 3:00 p.m., at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Rev. Henry Altman will officiate. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the residence at 115 Harris St., Bishopville.

Sarah was born in Spartanburg a daughter of the late E.C. & Tenor Glenn Burnett.

She was an active member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, a graduate of Converse College and was very civic minded belonging to the Book & Garden Club.

Surviving are her husband, Rev. E. King Scoggins, Bishopville, daughter, Betsy Daniel, Columbia, son, Dr. Blake Dennis, Mt. Pleasant, step-daughter, Diane Remetta, Spartanburg, grandchildren, Bill and Beaty, Columbia. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. L.B. Dennis, one sister and two brothers.
