Goldie Christine Tabor, 82, passed away on May 1, 2010. Goldie was born February 29, 1928 in Goldsby,Oklahoma to James Marion and Sarah Ethel (Johnson) VanWinkle. Goldie was very much a family woman. She enjoyed cookouts, family gatherings on the weekends, and sitting in her front yard visiting with family and neighbors.
Goldie was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 50 years, John Tabor; daughter, Kathryn Kitchens; 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, James Tabor and wife Delores, Larry Tabor and wife Norma, Marshall Tabor and wife Heidi, Jenney Morren and husband David; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
