Age 17, died Monday, May 27, 1985 as the result of an auto accident. He was born October 11, 1967 in Kaukauna and was a Junior at Kaukauna High School. He was employed by Service Master of Northeast Wisconsin, in Appleton and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. He is survived by his parents: Eugene and Jane (Hardy) Schaefer, Kaukauna; two brothrers: William, and his fiance, Beth Van Dyn Hoven, Kaukauna; Robert and Theresa, Appleton; a sister, Mary, Kaukauna; his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Renata Vandenberg, Kaukauna; his paternal Grandmother, Mrs. William (Nell) Schaefer, Kaukauna.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfathers: Eugene T. Hardy and William R. Schaefer.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Rev. Don Fuller officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home, from 4 until 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday morning until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a 7:30 p.m. prayer service Tuesday at the funeral home.
