Obituary follows:

Julius Vogt, who farmed in the town of Buchanan for over 50 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Luebke, route 3, Kaukauna, about 9:30 Monday evening. He was 87 and lived at 317 W. 11th street, Kaukauna.

Vogt was born July 28, 1863, at Freedom and spent 20 years in South Dakota before returning to the town of Buchanan in 1898.

The cortege will form at 8:30 Thursday morning at the Greenwood Funeral Home at Kaukauna and services will be held at 9 o'clock at St. Marys Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with the Rev. Joseph Esdepsky in charge. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 9 o'clock tonight and Wednesday evening.

Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Joseph Fischer, and Mrs. Chester Sawall, Appleton, Mrs. William Dries, West Allis, Mrs. Walter Vollmer, Hilbert, Mrs. John Wagner, Lakewood, Mrs. William Schaefer and Mrs. George Luebke, Kaukauna; one son, John Vogt, Detroit, Mich; 24 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
