Obituary follows:

John H. Vogt, 63, former Kaukauna resident, died at his home, 1035 E. Eight Mile Road, Hazel Park, Michigan, about 8 o'clock Saturday morning after several months illness.

Surviving are the widow and seven sisters, Mrs. J.L. Fischer and Mrs. C.J. Sawall, Appleton, Mrs. George Luebke and Mrs. William Schaefer, Kaukauna, Mrs. William N. Dries, West Allis, Mrs. Walter Vollmer, Hilbert, and Mrs. John Wagner, Lakewood.

Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral home, Kaukauna, from Tuesday evening until the services. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Tuesday night. After the cortege forms at the funeral home at 8:30 Wednesday morning, services will be aat St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna, at 9 o'clock with Rev. Joseph Esdepsky, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Vogt was born in Milbank, SD. on June 6, 1887. He came to Kaukauna with his parents in 1898. When 21 years old he went to Montana and from there to Lethbridge and Purple Springs, Alberta, Canada. He spent 26 years as a barber in Detroit, retiring in January of this year. Vogt was a veteran of the World War I and a member of Chapter 55 of the barbers union in Oakland county Michigan.
