Warren C. Aleshire, 92, of Waynesboro, died on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Brookdale Assisted Living, Harrisonburg. He was born on May 27, 1925, to the late John and Nina Painter Aleshire of Stanley.
On July 7, 1948, he married Janice Illeana Hackley of Stanley, who died March 15, 2010.
Warren was employed by Crompton and Corner Hardware in Waynesboro. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are sister, Martha Breeden of Front Royal; and brother, Carson Aleshire of Stanley.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Omar of Front Royal and Robert of Stanley; and sisters, Naomi Bailey and Ailene Burner of Front Royal.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2017, in Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro, by Elder Roy Campbell. There will be no family night, but friends may call at McDow Funeral Home, Waynesboro, during regular business hours. Please call ahead.
