Alice R. Garrelts, 71, of Philo passed away at 12:21 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 14, 2010) at home.

She was born on Dec. 11, 1938 in Farina, Il. She married Weldon Garrelts on May 31, 1959. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Danny (Connie) Garrelts of St. Charles, Mo. and David (Wafaa) Garrelts of Plano, Texas; four grandchildren, Michael Garrelts, Rachel Garrelts, Sarah Garrelts and John Garrelts; a sister, Linda Matthews of Tuba City, Arizona and a brother, Donald Finkbone of Beason, Il.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles and William Finkbone.
