Mildred Onita Bell, 84 of Nederland, Texas, passed away September 16, 2010 at Cypress Glen East in Port Arthur, Texas. Mildred was born February 21, 1926 in Merryville, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse D. Bell; her parents; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; son, Charles Bell; grandson, Charles E. Bell; great-granddaughter, Alexia Flory. Mildred is survived by brother, Earl Keel and wife, Ouida of Groves; daughter, Patricia Newton and husband, John of Nederland; son, Glenn Bell and wife, Jeanie of Nederland; 6 grandchildren, Jared Newton, Dawn Ford Flory, JW Newton, Brandon Bell, Brittany Bell Copeland; and 4 great-grandchildren, James Newton, Aden Flory, Camden Flory, and Tyler Copeland.
A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland, Rev. James Corkran officiating. Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana.
