Marian V. Addis, 79, of 13643 N. Riverbeach Drive died at 5:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 1994, at her daughter's residence in St. Charles.
Born March 27, 1914, in Syracuse, N.Y., to Henry and Catherine Chittenden Sweet, she married William Addis in 1946, in Peoria. He died June 28, 1965, in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by one brother.
Surviving are one son, William of Brookfield; one daughter, Stephany Impson of St. Charles; three step-grandchildren; and one sister, Mildred Sweet of Indianapolis, Ind.
She attended the University of Michigan for two years.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davison-Fulton Anderson Chapel in Chillicothe where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev. Ray Harrison will officiate. Burial will be in LaSalle Cemetery in Rome.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
